Week Six – Art Camp Recap and What’s Ahead!

We can’t believe that it’s already August and that we are in the last month of camps for the summer! We had another awesome week of camp from July 28th to August 1st and we have more pictures to share from that session!

Last week we learned the fundamentals of drawing and painting with our teen class, took flights of the imagination, experimented with brushes and palettes with our youngest ones, learned how to draw perspectives, and made a GIANT mural of the AAC building with our 7-10 year olds. Overall, it was a great week and some of the projects really look amazing! As always, we have a few pictures from this week so you can catch up on what our students have been creating!

As you can see, there was a ton of art-making going on this week in a variety of mediums! We worked on everything from sculpture to painting to large-scale drawing! The mural of the AAC building is definitely one of the more memorable projects of the summer, it’s always amazing to see what can be accomplished when our students collaborate with one another!

As it stands now, there are still openings for ages 4-6  and our teen classes. Our 7-10 year old sections are almost completely full, but there are still a couple spots left for the end of the summer classes during the week of August 25th to August 29th.
