Week Five – Art Camp Recap and What’s Ahead!

Once again we had another great week at art camp! We took Five Adventures in Five Days with the little ones, created some amazing illustrations in Comic Book Composition, learned about our surroundings in This is My City, and much, much more!

As promised, a sample of what we’ve been up to the last week during camp:

Additionally this week, the older kids (ages 11-14) in This is My City took a ton of photographs of Rosslyn, Ballston, Georgetown and some nature down at Potomac Overlook. Their instructor, Chanan Delivuk, compiled the cream of the crop of these photos together into a Tumblr titled This is My City. The fresh eyes and perspectives of these students compose spectacular and unexpected photographs!

There are even more camps on the horizon for next week! We’ve completely registered our 7-10 year-old camps for the rest of the summer, but we’ve had so much interest that we were able to create a few new sessions for our most popular camps. These camps will take place during the last week of August and include, Drawing 101 and Comic Book Composition. Here’s a brief listing of the classes that still have available seats for the rest of the summer!
