Thank you, Compass!

Last year, Arlington Arts Center was fortunate to be awarded a Compass strategic initiative project. Compass is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire business professionals to engage with their local nonprofits to transform communities. AAC’s Compass team of nine pro-bono professionals, led by Char Beales and Lisa Sullivan, set out to help our staff and board refine our mission and vision statements, and develop strategic pathways to allow AAC to have a greater impact on a larger audience. In service of that goal, AAC’s Compass team surveyed and interviewed key stakeholders, mined valuable data on AAC’s operations, and leveraged that data to provide us with formal recommendations for reaching our strategic goals. Thanks to the work of our Compass team over an eight-month period, AAC is now poised to complete a new strategic plan and launch the next chapter of our 45-year history.

Thank you, Compass, for moving the needle at AAC!
