Foundations in Oil Painting
Explore the rich world of oil painting in this beginner-friendly class! Students will learn the fundamentals of working with oils, including color mixing, brush techniques, under-painting, layering, blending, composition, and light and shadow. Through guided exercises and simple painting projects, you’ll develop confidence while discovering the unique qualities and possibilities of oil paint.

- Supplies are not included in the cost of this class, one week prior to the class start date, a supply list will be emailed to all students.
- This is an in-person class held onsite at MoCA Arlington’s Innovation Studio + Store in Crystal City (525 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202).
