In-Person Class / Tuesdays / Oct. 6 - Nov. 17

Foundations in Drawing: From Realism to Abstraction (Ages 11-14)

Strengthen your foundation in drawing by learning to capture what you see with accuracy and creativity. In this program, students will explore essential techniques like shading, perspective, gesture, and mark-making, building skills that apply to all visual arts. Starting with representational drawing, students will bring still lifes and portraits to life on paper. As students grow more comfortable, we will experiment with abstraction adding a new layer of expression. Through a mix of traditional and experimental techniques, students will create a dynamic portfolio that reflects your unique perspective and growing abilities.
