Drawing: Contemporary Landscapes

Depictions of landscapes by artists often become windows that transport viewers into other worlds. Students will focus their energies on perspective, play with the effects of light over modeled surfaces, and employ both mark and color to achieve their desired effects. With new drawing techniques, students will address the traditional landscape in fresh and original ways.
