Creative Inspirations: Musically Motivated Artists (Ages 8-10)

From Rauschenberg to Basquiat, learn and explore how contemporary artists have been inspired by music in their work. Combine music and art to learn how to transform one art form into another using rhythm, structure, and color. Students will explore the creative practices of contemporary artists and how they have been creatively motivated by music, creating their own paintings, drawings and collages inspired by a variety of musical and artistic influences.
