Art Camp Recap and What’s Ahead

We’ve had such a great time drawing, painting, and even sculpting while pondering bugs, space, and comics that it’s hard to believe AAC just completed its third week of art camps!

Here’s a sample of some of the fun we’ve had over the last few weeks:

There are even more camps coming – and next week, July 21st – 25th, we’re offering five camps for children between the ages of 4-14.

Fantasy Forests

  • Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
  • Ages 4-6
  • We will use color and textures in fun ways to create our own imaginary worlds!

Five Adventures in Five Days

  • Monday – Friday from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Ages 4-6
  • A new art theme will be explored every day as we experiment with 2D and 3D materials.

Drawing 101

  • Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
  • Ages 7-10
  • We will learn and master drawing fundamentals!

Finding Art in Nature

  • Monday – Friday from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Ages 7-10
  • We will turn our eyes to the natural world to find our creative inspiration.

This is My City

  • Monday – Friday from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Ages 11-14
  • We will explore our neighborhood as we learn photography fundamentals. Then, we’ll exhibit our best works at AAC!

As always, we’re excited for the next crop of campers and can’t wait to start learning and making more art!
