AAC Reopening and Adjusted Hours

We are pleased to be reopening our galleries to the public beginning Saturday, September 26th!

AAC will reopen with SOLOS 2020, featuring work by Tara Gupta, Kim Llerena, Rebecca Rivas-Rogers, Anne Clare Rogers, Constance Simon, and Heidi Zenisek. In the Truland Gallery, a screening room will feature video work from By Proxy, AAC’s online summer exhibition. In the Jenkins Community Gallery, Foon Sham: Arlington Projects, 1988-2019 has been extended to December 19, 2020. Visitors can also experience Passage, a site-specific installation by Lynda Andrews-Barry currently on view on AAC’s front lawn.

Masks will be required inside the building at all times, and social distancing and strict capacity limits will be observed. All visitors entering the galleries will be asked to sign in at the front desk and to certify that they do not have COVID symptoms. AAC has taken a number of steps to ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and residents, including adopting enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures, installing hand sanitizer stations, and regulating capacity and flow within the building.

Through the end of 2020, AAC’s classes and workshops continue to take place primarily online. Go to our Education page to access the full schedule of online and in-person classes for kids, teens, and adults.

Our public hours have been adjusted. Until further notice, our hours are:
Wednesday – Saturday, 12:00pm – 5:00pm.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
