Día de los Muertos Crafting Social — Catrina Costumes

Friday / October 16 / 6pm - 8pm / Innovation Studio + Store

A relaxed, communal BYO craft night to get your Catrina look ready for Día de los Muertos! Bring your own costume pieces, materials, or works in progress to create or embellish a Catrina costume. You’ll craft alongside a Catrina artist, Michelle Espinosa, who can help with your project, and also, talk about the traditions of Día de los Muertos. A basic shared station will have common tools and adhesives.

Pop-up vendor Dulce and Dough Co will also be on site with Día de los Muertos–inspired treats for purchase.

Get your Catrina-Inspired look ready ahead of our annual Día de los Muertos celebration at our main museum location on Sunday, November 1. This year’s event will include a Catrina Parade–be a part!!
