Wellness Wednesdays @ the Innovation Studio: Intuitive Art Making

1st Wednesdays / 6:30pm-7:30pm / Innovation Studio

Explore the many practices and processes of intuitive art making– with a variety of mediums and techniques! Teachers will rotate with their offerings on the first Wednesday of each month.

  • September 2: Doodle Designs with Watercolor
Create meditative doodles with watercolor on notecards. Using abstract and modern techniques, these watercolor doodles are the perfect way to unwind and share your creativity. Hosted by Maureen Minard.
  • October 7: Collage Exploration
In this session, look at artists using a variety of color palettes, and experiment with different ways that color can abstractly be used to express emotion, explore memory, and connect our mind to our hand. Hosted by Lindsay Mueller.
  • November 4: NO Class
  • December 2: Mindful Mark Making
Be guided through abstract mark making with paints, pens, and markers. These intuitive impressions will become the basis of forming more intentional shapes and layers.  Led by Margaret Jacobson.

No art experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment! Catch the vibe of wellness.
