Tote Bag Design with Hoesy Corona – a Public Workshop @ the Innovation Studio

Saturday / November 23 / 1pm-3pm

Immerse yourself in the art of “drawing with scissors” in a workshop guided by artist-in-residence Hoesy Corona. Experience a creative afternoon at the MoCA Arlington Innovation Studio + Store, as you turn an ordinary book tote into an extraordinary masterpiece using heat transfer materials. Draw inspiration from the iconic silhouettes seen in Henri Matisse’s art and Hoesy’s vibrant Climate Ponchos. This class is designed for everyone, and all materials will be provided.

Make sure to drop in with enough time to play — the process will take at least 30 minutes to complete.

Hosted at the Innovation Studio + Store  — 525 14th Street S Arlington, VA 22202
