Art After Hours: 50th Anniversary Celebration

Saturday / June 15 / 5pm-8pm

Join MoCA Arlington to celebrate the opening of our new summer exhibitions and honor the organization’s 50th anniversary year! Golden: Fifty Years of New Classics includes work by artists who have exhibited at MoCA Arlington in every decade of its fifty years, highlighting the institution’s foundational role in the regional arts scene and its legacy as a launchpad for new talent. Wish You Were Here features new work by all twelve of the museum’s current and recent resident artists. Tape it Up! Community Photos with Reclining Liberty invites you to bring your own photo with Reclining Liberty  and tape it in the Jenkins Community Gallery.

Inside the museum, view the new exhibitions, visit resident artist studios, and enjoy refreshments from the cash bar. On the lawn, celebrate with music, art activities, and a photobooth.
