In Conversation: Nekisha Durrett + Zaq Landsberg

Saturday / April 27 / 1pm-3pm
Join artists Zaq Landsberg and Nekisha Durrett for a conversation about the rewards and challenges of public art and the complex nature of monuments and memorials. Their experiences working in Arlington will provide a foundation for the conversation. Zaq Landsberg’s popular Reclining Liberty is on view at MoCA Arlington through July of 2024 and Nekisha Durrett’s acclaimed Queen City was unveiled in Metropolitan Park in 2023.

The conversation is co-sponsored by MoCA Arlington and Arlington Public Art, a program of Arlington Cultural Affairs, a division of Arlington Economic Development (AED).

The conversation will take place at MoCA Arlington’s Innovation Studio + Store, located at 525 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202
