Creativity in Motion: Sunday Barefoot Boogie

Last Sunday of the month / 10-12pm

Join us for Sunday Barefoot Boogie in the museum’s Tiffany Gallery!

On the dance floor: no shoes, no phones, and no judgement. We respect each other and ourselves. This is about exploration and expression! There are no right or wrong moves. Move as you will.

Expect incredible music that will welcome you to awaken, energize, release, and connect. Come Boogie!

THINGS TO NOTE:

-Doors will close for entry at 10:15am in order to facilitate a contained dance experience.

-Entry is donation based via EventBrite. Proceeds benefit the museum’s mission.

-Dances held every month on the last Sunday. CURRENTLY POSTPONED THROUGH THE SUMMER WHILE WE FACILTATE OTHER SUMMER PROGRAMMING. Check back with us in the Fall!

Christina P. Day uses form and found material as repositories for both time and lived experience. In her sculptural installations, Day uses space to evoke a sense of time, activating existing walls and surfaces in a way that physically bonds a now with a then.

Steve Wanna: A Vast Expanse

An interactive soundscape and light installation, Steve Wanna’s A Vast Expanse is inspired by the phenomenon known as the event horizon, the outer boundary of a black hole and the border between the singularity of the black hole and the surrounding universe.
