Spring Exhibitions Opening Reception

Saturday / April 23 / 7pm - 9pm EST

Join AAC for a reception to celebrate our spring exhibitions! SOLOS 2022 features solo exhibitions by Alexander D’Agostino, Kyrae Dawaun, Danni O’Brien, Sharon Shapiro, Marisa Stratton, and Ju Yun. In the Wyatt Resident Artist Gallery, Stephanie Lane: Thresholds is resident artist Stephanie Lane’s first solo show since becoming an AAC resident.

The spring exhibition reception takes place on April 23 from 7pm-9pm at Arlington Arts Center. Masks will be required while inside AAC’s building and not eating or drinking. Registration is required and capacity will be limited. Guests are asked to register for timed entry at either 7pm or 8pm.

An Adventure of Being explores blurred boundaries, physical breakdown, and states of in-between-ness. The painting, sculpture, and installations included in the exhibition incorporate materials and forms that bring to mind living beings.
