In Spite Of Modernism Talk with Curator Jonathan Frederick Walz

Join Jonathan Frederick Walz, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Curator of American Art at The Columbus Museum (GA), for a presentation contextualizing and elaborating on the Modernist aspects featured within In Spite of Modernism. Walz will present on his co-curated traveling exhibition Alma Thomas: Everything is Beautiful (currently on view at The Frist Art Museum, Nashville) and discuss how Thomas and other Modern artists set the stage for contemporary artists, like those featured in In Spite of Modernism. The talk will be held virtually on Zoom on Thursday, March 10 at 6PM EST. Advance registration required.
