Drawing: Fundamentals & Beyond

Drawing what you see is an important skill for all artists to master, no matter the preferred medium. This program provides you with a solid foundation in essential drawing skills that can then be translated to all of the visual arts. You will learn to use line, value, perspective, gesture, and mark making to create works that are representational. As the class continues, your work will evolve into the realm of abstraction. You will work through a variety of traditional and experimental techniques and projects will include, still-life, portraiture, landscape, and more.
