Drawing: Landscape & Color

This drawing course will investigate landscapes beyond the naturalistic representation of a place, with a strong emphasis on using color drawing materials to explore space, mood, and expression. Students will delve into landscape as a way to communicate ideas and emotion, and emphasis will be placed on color relationships, mark making, composition, and more. We will primarily work from photographic references, starting more representational and developing more inventiveness throughout. All skill levels are welcome!
