Smartphone Photography

Today’s smartphone cameras can produce extraordinary images, but how many of us know how to take full advantage of these powerful tools to capture, edit and share great pictures? This hands-on, three-week workshop teaches participants the art and science of creating great pictures with smartphones. Photo basics, learning the controls, picture composition, making the most of available light, creative effects, free photo apps, image editing, sizing, sharing, and archiving are among the areas covered in this fun and practical workshop.

  • Supplies are not included in the cost of this class, one week prior to the class start date, a supply list will be emailed to all students.
  • This is an in-person class that will be held onsite at MoCA Arlington’s Innovation Studio + Store in Crystal City (525 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202)..
  • Health & Safety: The health & safety of our students is very important to us. We ask that if you are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, and congestion) that you kindly wear a mask. MoCA Arlington can provide you with a medical mask if needed. If you are feeling unwell with worsening symptoms, we ask that you stay home.
