Drawing: In Real Life

Put down your phone and use your eyes to capture the world! Short exercises and close studies in pencil and charcoal will help you hone your drawing skills, whether you have a minute or an afternoon. Subjects include people, architecture, plants, and contemporary still life.

  • Supplies are not included in the cost of this class, one week prior to the class start date, a supply list will be emailed to all students.
  • This is an in-person class that will be held onsite at MoCA Arlington.
  • Health & Safety: The health & safety of our students is very important to us. We ask that if you are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, and congestion) that you kindly wear a mask. MoCA Arlington can provide you with a medical mask if needed. If you are feeling unwell with worsening symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

An Adventure of Being explores blurred boundaries, physical breakdown, and states of in-between-ness. The painting, sculpture, and installations included in the exhibition incorporate materials and forms that bring to mind living beings.
