Playful Mixed Media Making

Instructor Jennifer Wilkin Penick will lead you through a series of engaging creative prompts that will get your creativity going and feel like a session of art play. Using a variety of mixed media techniques (collage, painting, and mark-making) you will explore color, composition and stretch your creative wings. A flexible materials list makes this class easy on the budget, and projects are suitable for all skill levels.

An Adventure of Being explores blurred boundaries, physical breakdown, and states of in-between-ness. The painting, sculpture, and installations included in the exhibition incorporate materials and forms that bring to mind living beings.
