Drawing what you see is an important skill for all artists to master, no matter the preferred medium. This class will provide you with a solid foundation in essential drawing skills that can then be translated to all of the visual arts. You will learn to use line, value, perspective, gesture, and mark making to create works that are representational as well as abstract. You will work through a variety of traditional and experimental techniques. Projects will include still-life, portraiture, landscape, and more.
