Creative Inspirations: Musically Motivated Artists (Ages 8-10)
From Rauschenberg to Basquiat, learn and explore how contemporary artists have been inspired by music in their work. Combine music and art to learn how to transform one art form into another using rhythm, structure, and color. Students will explore the creative practices of contemporary artists and how they have been creatively motivated by music, creating their own paintings, drawings and collages inspired by a variety of musical and artistic influences.

This is a virtual art class. Art supply kits are included in the cost of this course. Please note: Kits must be picked up from AAC prior to the start of class on April 15th or 16th between 12:00-5:00pm. Kits will include all specialty materials your child will need for this class. A few basic items will not be included in the supply kits. Please make sure you have pencils, scissors, and scratch paper for sketching on hand (printer paper works perfectly for this purpose).
AAC is using Zoom for its online classes. You can use Zoom on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. It is free to use with or without downloading it. We advise downloading.
