Gift Mania Workshop (Ages 8-10)

Get ready for the winter season and the holidays at Arlington Art Center’s virtual Gift Mania workshop! Participants will create a special hand-made work of art for a loved one to be kept secret until a big reveal during the holidays. Parents, we will be wrapping these gifts, so no peeking!

This is a virtual art workshop. You will receive a link to this workshop as well as the supply list (materials can be purchased online or in a local store) a week before class begins. We advise that you test out your computer’s audio, camera, and wifi the day before class and gather your supplies in advance. AAC is using Zoom for its online classes. You can use Zoom on your computer or smartphone. It is free to use with or without downloading it. We advise downloading.

Art supply kits are included in the cost of this workshop. Please note: Kits are to be picked up from AAC prior to the start of this workshop on December 17th or 18th during AAC’s open hours 12:00-5:00pm. Kits will include all specialty materials your child will need for this workshop. A few basic items will not be included in the supply kits. Please make sure you have pencils, scissors, and scratch paper for sketching on hand (printer paper works perfectly for this purpose).
