Experimental Painting: Modern and Contemporary Artists
Do you want to know how artists make their work? Each week in this online course we will focus on a different modern or contemporary artist, such as Frida Kahlo, Sol LeWitt, Kehinde Wiley, Gerhard Richter, and Yayoi Kusama. Then you will make your own work based on what you’ve learned about their creative processes. This course focuses on art history and the wide variety of artistic processes. Everything is new again, as you will make personal work that speaks about you. No one’s work will be the same. All skill levels are welcome in this very supportive environment. Gather your materials, and bring curiosity and a willingness to explore!
