Monotype Printmaking Workshop
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of monotype printmaking using a gelatin plate. Students will learn how to create basic stencils and compose simple or intricate compositions by building up multiple layers of paint on paper. Artwork will be created in a standard size so that it can be easily framed at home. This will be a fun and experimental workshop in which students will find they can generate endless possibilities and surprising—often beautiful—results.
