Art + Wellness: Session 2

Art holds immense therapeutic power, and too often we forget to bring this power into our everyday lives. In times of uncertainty, creating art can offer a respite from our daily anxieties. In this virtual course, participants will explore the relationship between art and wellness through the creation of mixed-media compositions. Classes will begin with guided meditation instruction to help students recognize and explore their creative and emotional energies. Each session will focus on a different aspect of healing through art. All artistic skill levels are welcome in this self-care and creative practices class. This is a new session of Art & Wellness, with some new exercises. Participants who have taken this class before are welcome to join again. Most of the materials used in this course can be found at home. If you do not have something, don’t worry! The instructor will assist you with creative alternatives.
