Delving into Printmaking: Ages 11-14

Curious about printmaking? This class will introduce students to relief printmaking techniques that do not require a press, and will enable them to produce multiple copies of original artwork. Composition, form, and balance will be emphasized as well as the proper use of tools, print registration, and how to number a print edition. Students will explore monotype, collagraph, stenciling, and three-color reduction linoleum block printing processes.
