Watercolor Workshop with Arte e Vino: French Lavender

French wines have long been regarded as the world’s finest. From dark merlots to brisk Beaujolais, French wines offer unmatched quality and variety. This two-and-a-half-hour workshop in partnership with Arte e Vino provides attendees an opportunity to enjoy a sampling of French wines while learning watercolor techniques in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

With French lavender as our subject, participants will discover experimental uses of materials as well as traditional ways to render imagery. Participants will paint several pieces on paper over the course of the workshop. Information about our selection of wines and a brief discussion of the nature and uses of lavender will accompany the opportunity to enjoy French wines. Join us for an evening of tasting and painting and go home with a framed piece.
