Art & Wellness

Art holds immense therapeutic power, and too often we forget to bring this power into our everyday lives. In this eight-week course, participants will explore the relationship between art and wellness through the creation of mixed-media abstract compositions. Each session will focus on a different theme in healing through art. Emphasis will be placed on channeling positive energy, visualizing hurt and pain, containing anxiety, and creating a “whole” self through guided meditations and expressive exercises. No art experience is required.
